Celine Rightman is the anagram of British composer and multi-instrumentalist Micah Neterling.

Armed with a rather accidental and unlikely background in cinematography, Neterling has forged a unique visual approach to musical composition where form and substance are indivisible.

I seem to see music as much as I can hear it. It’s a blessing, sporadically, and a curse, the rest of the time!

Music is no more than vaguely organised acoustic phenomenons.

Just like mind and body are inseparable, music composition and its acoustic expression can’t possibly be segregated.

Music doesn’t exist on its own, in silence. Written music is not music, it’s just a deaf intention in waiting, at very best.

It’s the instrument and its voice which dictates what to write down, not the other way round.

What you hear... is what I see.
