Wood Blood is a suite of 10 orchestral pieces, designed as an explorative and foundational concept-album under the alias Celine Rightman™.

The opus is characterised by its non-linear form, constantly meandering through themes, tones and tempo, only ever driven by the unpredictable flow of feral curiosity.​

 

Imbued with the Spirit and Nature of the British Isles, Wood Blood takes the audience on a whimsical and fluid flight path through a musical landscape of forests and meadows, drawing inspiration from Vaughan Williams to Elgar, among other fellow islanders. 

Born in the early days of the pandemic, Wood Blood is a solo project by circumstance and necessity. It took no less than 919 days over 5 years to compose and produce, one instrument and one track at a time, from the very first note to the last mastering session.​
